Thank you for your interest
in the Zonta Club of the Morristown Area, and providing the opportunity
to introduce you to Zonta. The Zonta Club of the Morristown Area is one
of more than 1100 local clubs of Zonta International. Zonta
International is a worldwide service organization of women in business
and the professions working to improve the status of women nationally
and internationally. The Zonta Club of the Morristown Area was chartered
in 1956, and undertakes service projects to benefit women and women’s
issues in the local community, and supports projects selected by Zonta
International. Members are encouraged to attend as many meetings as
possible throughout the year, and to participate in Club service
projects, committee work and fund-raising projects.
Our Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month, September through
June. Regular meetings consist of a member-paid dinner combined with a
business meeting and a program. We meet at 6:00 p.m. at Rod’s Ranch
House restaurant, at the Madison Hotel on Madison Avenue, in Morris
Township.
We invite you to join us at our next Club meeting to become acquainted
with Zonta International and the Morristown Area Club. Attendance at
your first meeting with our Club will be as our guest, in anticipation
that you will be interested in membership.
Please notify us at
contact@zontamorristown.org if you plan to attend so that an
accurate number of meals can be planned. Also, please visit the Zonta
International web site at www.zonta.org
